Stacy and Witbeck appoint new president

Stacy and Witbeck, Inc., named George Furnanz president, effective June 12, 2013. Furnanz will take over the responsibilities of company president from John Bollier, who had been president and chief executive officer. Bollier will continue to serve as chief executive officer.

The Northeast Indiana Passenger Rail Association, Inc. (NIPRA), released a business plan laying the groundwork for a regional, 11-city passenger rail corridor between Columbus, Ohio, and Chicago, Ill., through Fort Wayne and Warsaw, Ind.

JLP awarded on-call contract

J.L. Patterson & Associates, Inc. (JLP), received an on-call contract from the city of Anaheim Department of Public Works for design and construction management services for transportation projects.

Metropolitan Transit Authority New York City Transit brought FASTRACK back to the Bronx on the Concourse D Line July 15. D train service will be suspended in both directions between 205th Street and 161st Street-Yankee Stadium for four consecutive weeknights until early morning July 18.
