Invensys Rail Corp. and Lilee Systems have joined forces to bring a new Wayside Messaging Server (WMS) to PTC applications across North America. Invensys Rail will provide sales, application engineering and field service support for the WMS-2000, which was developed by Lilee.

The WMS-2000 provides an interoperable communications manager for Positive Train Control (ITCM) and legacy train control networks (ATCS). The unit is based on a powerful x86 processor, which is certified for PTC application and complies with AAR Standard S-9202A for standalone wayside messaging servers. It features IP KVM support for remote management and installation and has internal Wi-Fi, 3G, Site Specific Module and GPS options.

The WMS-2000 is currently being installed in the PTC system of a major Southwestern rail passenger network.

Lilee and Invensys will also collaborate to promote Lilee’s broad range of train control oriented radios to the rail industry.
