BLET, UP reach tentative agreement

The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen reached a tentative on-property contract agreement with Union Pacific.

The tentative agreement follows two years of negotiations between the BLET General Committees and Union Pacific. The tentative contract governs rates of pay and work rules for approximately 7,000 locomotive engineers.
