KCS names Jameson AVP safety and standardization

Kansas City Southern promoted L.E. Jameson to assistant vice president safety and standardization where he will report to vice president transportation and safety Steven Truitt.

“[Jameson] has a solid background in operating practices, technical expertise and the rapport with field operations personnel to bring significant value to our safety efforts and be highly effective in this role,” said Truitt.

Jameson has approximately 30 years of experience in the railroad industry, most of which has been with KCS. He began his career as a brakeman, is a certified locomotive engineer and conductor and has progressive management experience in transportation, operating practices and safety.
