PUCO approves upgrades to three CSX crossings

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio approved construction authorization from the Ohio Rail Development Commission under which, CSX Transportation will install mast-mounted flashing lights and roadway gates at three crossings.

 

The upgrades will appear at the Township Road 96/Taylor Road grade crossing in Auglaize County; County Road 109/Barners Road grade crossing in Hancock County and Township Road 56/Arendt Road grade crossing in Seneca County.

The railroad will be responsible for completing construction of the upgrades by July 30, 2014. Funding for these upgrades will be provided by federal funds.
