Anacostia names CSS; NY&A senior management promotions

Anacostia Rail Holdings, Inc., promoted Michael Shore to vice president-operations of the Chicago South Shore & South Bend Railroad (CSS) and James Bonner to vice president of the New York & Atlantic Railway (NY&A).

 

Shore, who has more than 23 years of railroad experience, has been superintendent and, most recently, general superintendent for the CSS since 2012. Prior to that, he was general manager of Chicago Rail Link. Previously, he held various positions, including general manager with Chicago Rail Link since 1999 and previously held various positions with the Belt Railway Co. of Chicago, the Orient Ocean Container Lines and the Burlington Northern Railroad.

Bonner, who has more than 18 years of railroad experience, has been director of sales and marketing at the NY&A since January 2013. Prior to coming to the NY&A, he had been general manager for Connecticut Southern Railroad in Hartford, Conn. since August 2011 and previously held various operating posts with Rail America, Otter Tail Valley Railroad and Kyle Railroad Company.
