Thomas named terminal manager for Tradepoint Atlantic Railroad

Tradepoint Atlantic, a 3,100-acre multimodal industrial site in Baltimore, Md., has named Paul Thomas terminal manager, where he will be responsible for developing an operating and capital investment strategy for Tradepoint Atlantic's shortline railroad.

 

Thomas has more than a decade of experience in sales, analytics and operations within the transportation industry. Most recently, he worked as manager of business development international sales and ports for CSX. Previously, he served in a variety of other applicable roles at CSX, including trainmaster,

Michael Moore, chief executive officer of Tradepoint Atlantic, said, “As Tradepoint Atlantic continues its growth plan toward becoming one of North America’s leading global transportation and logistics hubs, Paul Thomas brings top-shelf experience and knowledge of ports and world markets and we welcome his critical leadership skills in developing our shortline railroad.”
