TNW Corporation (TNW), operator of shortline railroads and logistics centers, has completed a multimillion dollar upgrade at its Panhandle Logistics Center, which is located on the TXNW Railway complex in Sunray, Texas.

In addition to improving the Panhandle Logistics Center’s infrastructure, the 2015 expansion project resulted in the construction of 23 miles of new rail track. This increases TNW’s railcar storage capacity system-wide to more than 13,000 cars.

“This is the latest in an ongoing program of expansion and improvements in our facilities and services to ensure that we can securely meet the needs of our clients in the future,” said Paul Treangen, TNW chief executive officer.

TNW logistics centers are designed to offer national, regional and local clients room to grow; short- and long-term storage for railcar fleets; warehousing and transload facilities and easy-access interchanges to both the BNSF and Union Pacific. TNW operates three shortlines and three logistics centers: TXGN Railway, TXR Railway, TXNW Railway, Panhandle Logistics Center, Camp Bowie Industrial Area and Eagle Ford Logistics Center.
