Watco adds to management team

Aaron Coester has been named vice president, informa¬tion technology of Watco Companies, LLC. His responsibilities will include overseeing information technol¬ogy software and services related to RMI, WATSS and SAP.

He will work with his team to ensure that information technology software is aligned with Watco’s Customer First Foundation Principles and objectives. Coester will be working out of the Pittsburg, Kan., office.

Raul Ramos, III has accepted the position of manager at the Port of San Antonio switching location in Texas for Watco Transportation Services, LLC. In this position, his duties will be to ensure site goals of safety, efficiency and profitability and overseeing the switching operation within the East Kelly Railport at the Port of San Antonio.

Kris Sherry has accepted the position of director of train¬ing and organizational development and will be leading the development of Watco Uni¬versity for Watco Companies. She will assess organizational training needs and create training and develop¬ment programs that impact team member and organizational performance. She will also manage the entire learning process to ensure that training programs meet objectives and are measured and evaluated based on Watco’s Customer First Foundation Principles.

Paul Gage has been named regional safety manager for Watco Companies Gulf Region. In this position, he will be responsible for training initial and current Watco Transportation team members and supporting internal customers of the Gulf re¬gion with all aspects of safety and compliance utilizing the Watco Customer First Foun¬dation Principles. He will be working out of The Woodlands, Texas, office.

Joshua Braden has been named manager of information technology at Watco Companies. Braden’s responsibilities will include overseeing information technology software and services related to RMI and WATSS. He will work with his team to develop and maintain systems which support Watco’s Customer First Foundation Prin¬ciples.
