Watco names GM for Wallula Switching

Watco Transportation Services named Kenneth Barnhouse general manager at the Wallula (Wash.) Switching Site, where it switches cars for Boise Cascade.

 

Barnhouse will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and will report directly to the director of switching operations. His duties will be to coordinate efforts between all railroad departments and to achieve performance goals with optimum safety, economy, efficiency and effectiveness ensuring profitability of all departments.

Barnhouse comes to Watco with 20 years in the scrap metal recycling industry where he served in many roles including general manager of large operations.
