As the general manager, Sonnier will be respon¬sible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on BRS. His duties will be to meet perfor¬mance goals with optimum safety, economy, efficiency and effectiveness,s along with oversee¬ing customer relationships in accordance with its Customer First Foundation Principles.
Sonnier will be responsible for establishing operating budgets and controlling expenses in all areas of the operation. He will be accountable to ensure all company policies and procedures are being followed by his team members and that all are administered fairly and equitably.
Brit joined BRS in August of 2011 as a trainmaster. He previously worked for Kansas City Southern from 1995 to 2006 and for Canadian National in 2008.
