He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations on the SRRR and will report directly to the director of operations. His duties will be to coordinate efforts between all railroad departments and to achieve performance goals with optimum safety, economy, efficiency and effectiveness ensuring profitability along with growth on the SRRR.
Ruggles has been with the Eastern Idaho Railroad as a conductor, engineer, TS&IC leader and assistant trainmaster and most recently with the Yellowstone Valley Railroad as a trainmaster.
