To mark its sixth year of operation, the Port Authority has introduced new amenities at AirTrain JFK facilities including interactive signs and a new Welcome Center at the Jamaica Station. These improvements make access to AirTrain services and navigation through terminal facilities even easier for airport passengers.
"AirTrain JFK has exceeded our every expectation in its six years of operation," said Anthony Coscia, the Port Authority chairman. "It is low-cost, hassle-free and reliable -- three big pluses for riders traveling to and from JFK."
Port Authority Executive Director Chris Ward said, "Fast, Cheap, Reliable. There is no better way to get to JFK and we are pleased that ridership continues to boom. We also hope the new improvements we have made will keep those numbers climbing and continue to improve the customer's experience."
