BNSF selects LPB Energy Management to manage its energy consumption

LPB Energy Management said that BNSF signed a seven-year contract for comprehensive energy and utility management services. LPB will help BNSF measure, report and reduce energy costs and usage to further support their commitment to energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
Contracted services
include utility invoice processing, verification and payment with advanced
reporting through LPB’s Utility ManagerTM software. Additionally, LPB will
provide ENERGY STAR® benchmarking, detailed utility bill audit services and
strategic energy procurement where opportunity exists.

efficiencies and cost savings that can be generated by consolidating all energy
management services under one company, BNSF has a strong commitment to
protecting the environment," said Patrick Harrison, manager of strategic
sourcing at BNSF. "This tool will allow us to easily track our consumption
while increasing awareness to further reduce our energy costs, usage and carbon
emissions."
