Cleveland RTA repair work temporarily closing stations

In order to replace a stairway, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority is temporarily closing the West 25th Red Line Rail station. The one-week project is scheduled to close the station from August 11 through August 18. The Red Line will continue to travel through this location, but passengers will not be able to enter or exit through this station during the stairway construction project.

Customers who need to
access this area of Ohio City have several other RTA alternatives available.

Service to and from the
West 25th Rail Station is expected to resume on August 19, 2010.

RTA will be making some
adjustments to rail service, and closing the E. 55th Rapid Station
over the weekend of August 6 through August 8, 2010. The E. 55th
Rapid Station will be closed all weekend, starting at 8:00 pm, Friday, August 6
and opening again at the start of service on Monday, August 9th.

Train Service Adjustments
due to Construction August 6-8:

•Starting at 8:00 p.m. on
Friday, August 6, all east side Red Line rail service will be replaced by
shuttle buses between Tower City and Stokes/Windermere

• Starting at 6:00 p.m.
on Saturday, August 6, both the Green and Blue lines will be shut down for the
remainder of the weekend.

The Waterfront Line will be
in regular weekend operation between Tower City and South Harbor as normally
scheduled.
