Written by jrood

Multinational railway signaling and train control provider Invensys Rail has appointed former Network Rail director Nick Crossfield as its new managing director for its Northern Europe division. He takes the helm of the division in June and succeeds Mark Wild who has been acting managing director since November 2009.

Invensys Rail – part of
Invensys plc, the global technology group – is playing a significant role in
the ongoing modernization and development of rail networks with its advanced
signaling and train control systems in service in Europe, Asia, North America
and Australasia from inner-city metro networks to the most advanced high-speed
railways in the world.

As well as his directorship
at Network Rail – where he was responsible for a major refocusing of the organization’s
commercial operations – Crossfield has 16 years’ experience in senior positions
in a range of international industrial and professional services organizations.
