DC Metro schedules work March 26-28

Track maintenance on the Red Line and an emergency drill at the Rosslyn Metrorail station on the Blue and Orange Line March 26-28 will cause inbound and outbound trains to take turns sharing one track. Customers should add 30 minutes to their trips.

Metrorail customers
traveling between the Friendship Heights and Medical Center Metrorail stations
should add at least 30 minutes to their travel time because Metro personnel
will be replacing 1,600 feet of rail, and 500 to 600 rail fasteners that
stabilize tracks during the weekend on the outbound track. Trains will share
one track between these locations the entire weekend from 8 p.m., Friday, March
26, to closing (midnight) on Sunday, March 28.

Metrorail customers
traveling between the Foggy Bottom-GWU and Arlington Cemetery Metrorail
stations on the Blue Line, and between the Foggy Bottom-GWU and Court House
Metrorail stations on the Orange Line should add at least 30 minutes to their
travel time because of an emergency exercise drill taking place the Rosslyn
Metrorail station. Trains will share one track between these locations from 11
p.m. to closing (3 a.m.), on Saturday, March 27/Sunday, March 28.
