Fulton Street, Port Jervis work slow MTA this weekend

Written by jrood

February 14, 2001 MTA NYC Transit said that due to Phase II construction on the Fulton Street Transit Center Project, ramp and passageway access will be closed from 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 21 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 23. Customers will not be able to transfer between the 23 and A trains. In addition, there are no transfers at Fulton Street/Broadway Nassau Street between 23 and 45 trains.

Nov. 20 is the last day
of midday busing on the Port Jervis Branch, but beginning at 10 p.m. that night
through noon Saturday, November 21, Metro-North and NJ Transit signal
maintainers will be upgrading the signals in the area of Harriman station and
this may cause delays of 10 to 15 minutes. During this work, trains will
operate at slower speeds, resulting in expected delays.
