The firm is also working on replacing the station stairs. The station will be closed for one week during April or May, but it will be open for the Indians home opener on April 12. RTA will give a two-week notice before closing the station. About 80 percent of the work is being done with federal funds.

Awarded a contract to Delta Railroad Construction Inc. of Ashtabula, Ohio, to replace bridge timbers and upgrade the track and walkways of two light-rail bridges on the common part of the Blue/Green lines, and replace the tracks along the Woodhill Station platform for a total of $2.28 million. The work will be done during six weekends and night work as necessary this summer. About 84 percent of the work will be paid with federal funds.
