North-Link Partnership awards Edmonton LRT contract

The North-Link Partnership made up of Graham Group and SNC-Lavalin Constructors has awarded HJ Skelton (Canada) Ltd. a contract to supply the trackwork for Canada's Edmonton North LRT project. The company will provide two intersecting double crossovers, curved and acute, with a third track-exit diamond crossing. It will be manufactured by DT in the Czech Republic and the special trackwork close crossties will come from LB Foster's CXT concrete tie plant in Spokane, Wash.
