OSI Systems acquires multimillion dollar contract

OSI Systems, a provider of specialized electronics and services, has announced that its Security division, Rapiscan Systems, has acquired a multimillion dollar contract from a customs agency based in Europe for high-speed rail inspection solutions using the Rapiscan Eagle® R60 Rail scanner platform. The high-energy rail inspection system will allow cargo trains to be screened as they travel at speeds of up to thirty five miles per hour. OSI Systems CEO, Deepak Chopra, stated, “We are especially pleased to have been awarded a contract from this key customer.
