RailComm DOC® CTC System in service at Portland's TriMet

Written by

TriMet's Washington County Commuter Rail in the Portland, Ore., area is in production service and is dispatched through a web-enabled Software-as-a-Service delivery platform provided by RailComm. RailComm's Domain Operations Controller (DOC®) Centralized Traffic Control system is hosted in Rochester, N.Y. RailComm's SaaS platform provides a "pay-as-you-go" model, thus eliminating capital equipment procurement constraints.

The DOC® software-based control system is a next generation computer-aided dispatching system used to centrally control and display status of signal interlockings, field devices and any mechanical, electro-mechanical, or electronic device imaginable. DOC® is an advanced command, control, communications and information server-based platform that supports a wide variety of integrated solutions for indication, control, access and distribution of critical operational data across the corporate enterprise.
