Reynolds joins PB Cincinnati office

Timothy Reynolds has been named a Senior Principal Technical Specialist in the Cincinnati office of Parsons Brinckerhoff. In his new position, Reynolds will be responsible for rail and transit services and operations planning and will support environmental analysis and multimodal planning. He is currently serving in key roles on the Cincinnati streetcar and Ohio 3-C Corridor Passenger Rail Plan projects.

Reynolds has more than 30
years of transportation industry experience in both the public and private
sectors. He joins PB following 15 years with the Southwest Regional Transit
Authority in Cincinnati, where he served as chief policy architect of transit
and multimodal transportation planning and development. He was the manager,
designer and spokesperson for SORTA’s groundbreaking MetroMoves strategic plan
that featured innovative applications of bus, light rail and streetcar service.
His capital projects included leading the design and development of the
award-winning, $10-million downtown Government Square Transit Center.

Previously, Reynolds was a senior
consultant with ATE Management and Service Company (now FirstTransit) in
Cincinnati, Ohio, serving as lead planner for operational analyses and
development plans for 50 transit authorities, including Detroit, Indianapolis,
New Orleans, San Jose and Westchester County, New York. He also served as a
transportation planner for metropolitan planning organizations in Massachusetts
and Wisconsin.

Reynolds holds a B.A. in
urban studies from the University of Connecticut. His professional affiliations
include the American Planning Association.
