TranSystems names Rock Midwest Region VP

TranSystems, promoted Timothy P. Rock to regional vice president of the company's Midwest Region. Rock, a firm principal, has been with TranSystems for 14 years, serving in a number of progressively diverse roles in the company, most recently director of operations. He is a leader in the firm's Kansas City rail team, working with many of the nation's Class 1 railroads. "Tim has established himself as a leader in not only his office but in the region and the company," said Paul Malir, president and COO of TranSystems. "I am excited to have this team in place to move forward." Rock will assume complete leadership of the region, responsible for all aspects, from business development efforts in the Midwest Region, executing marketing-driven national strategies, to the day-to-day operating functions. He is a member of the American Railway Engineering & Maintenance-of-Way Association, Construction Management Association of America and the Society of American Military Engineers.
