RTD adds power to lines for Eagle P3 Project

As part of the Eagle P3 Project, Denver's Regional Transit District and its contractor, Denver Transit Partners have the power lines turned on along the Gold (G) Line between Union Station and the Wheat Ridge - Ward Station and on the Northwest Rail (B) Line to Westminster for testing.

 

Eagle P3 is a public-private partnership comprised of RTD’s East Rail Line, Gold Line, Commuter Rail Maintenance Facility and Northwest Rail Line Westminster segment.

The G line added an 11.2-mile electric commuter rail corridor between Union Station and Ward Road in Wheat Ridge that will pass through northwest Denver, Adams County and Arvada and include intermediate stations at 41st – Fox, Pecos Junction, Clear Creek – Federal, 60th & Sheridan – Arvada Gold Strike, Olde Town Arvada, Arvada Ridge and Wheat Ridge – Ward.
