Las Vegas Railway Express, Inc. (X Train), entered into an agreement with the city of Fullerton, Calif., to extend its previous Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

At the Fullerton City Council Meeting held on October 1, 2013, the council authorized the extension of the MOU between the city of Fullerton and X Train from October 11, 2013, through April 11, 2014. The purpose of the memorandum is to outline the parties’ intent to cooperate and work together in good faith to explore potential operating agreements for services in support of the mobilization and operation of X Train and the city of Fullerton.

“Working with Joe Felz, Fullerton city manager, Nicole Bernard, economic development director and the Fullerton City Council to garner their support of the X Train project could not have been a more positive experience. We feel this project will be equally beneficial to Las Vegas Railway Express and the city of Fullerton because of the dollars spent by our passengers for goods, services and parking while they are in Fullerton and will help boost the tax base of the city,” said Dianne David Barron, director of real estate for X Train.
