Baker names VP and National Rail and Transit Lead

Michael Baker Jr., Inc., a unit of Michael Baker Corporation, hired David Wilcock, P.E., as vice president and national practice leader rail & transit (R&T). In this position, Wilcock will provide leadership in all aspects of operations and business development for Baker's R&T practice nationwide.

Wilcock, a 29-year transportation industry professional, has extensive project and program management experience, particularly in rail and transit planning, design, construction and project implementation. The scope of his R&T background encompasses both project and program administration and transportation operations. Wilcock will operate from Baker’s Norwood, Mass., office location.

Baker’s Jim Twomey, P.E., senior vice president of the firm’s transportation operations, said, “Bringing David on to lead our R&T business is a significant boost to our ongoing efforts to build a stronger presence in the R&T market space. He brings the project background and leadership skills to this position that will produce positive results.”
