On May 4, Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) New York City Transit (NYCT) will bring FASTRACK to the Q on the Brighton Line between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr. and Prospect Park for two consecutive weeks of maintenance and repairs during weeknights and overnight hours.

May 4 through May 8 and May 11 through May 15, Q service will be suspended between 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Atlantic Av.-Barclays Ctr. to Prospect Park. Brighton Beach-bound B service ends early, with downtown trains terminating at Atlantic Av.-Barclays Ctr. after 10:15 p.m.

FASTRACK was introduced in January 2012, devoting four straight weeknights to maintenance work in tunnels, stations and on tracks by suspending service within a given line segment for a seven-hour period.

The next FASTRACK overnight closure scheduled to begin July 6 and end July 10 and will take place on the N, Q and R lines in Manhattan.
