Gannett Fleming appointed Bryan Mulqueen, PE, to director of transit & rail. Based in the Raleigh, N.C., office, Mulqueen serves as a vice president in the company and a project principal for the firm's most critical transit projects.

Gannett Fleming says with 30 years of industry experience, Mulqueen has made a name for himself since joining the firm just five years ago. He first served as a senior project manager and director of transit & rail for the Delmarva and Southeast Regions, overseeing large multidisciplinary teams for major transportation infrastructure projects across the U.S. He then rose to national manager of the Transit & Rail Practice, which provides a forum for transit and rail personnel to develop common design strategies and standards for project implementation. Mulqueen now takes the reins as director of transit & rail, one of the fastest-growing operations in the firm. In this role, he is responsible for the operational management, business development, strategic growth and profitability of the firm’s transit and rail interests.

“A forward-thinker, Bryan blends innovation, tremendous technical acumen and dynamic leadership,” said Robert Scaer, PE, president and chief operating officer. “As we celebrate our firm’s 100th anniversary this year, he will help position our transit and rail operations for success in the next 100 years.”
