Colmar USA introducing Hi-Rail loaders and m/w. equipment to North America

Colmar USA, Inc., said that its first Hi-Rail machine T7000 has been sold to the Toronto Transit Commission, their first North American customer. The introduction of Hi-Rail machinery in North America complements the scrap metal equipment line that has been Colmar USA's primary product since it was established in 2002.

Colmar USA, Inc. is the subsidiary of Colmar S.p.A., which has a long history in the Hi-Rail machinery business.  Since its first Hi-Rail crane in 1967, Colmar, based near Venice, Italy, has delivered products in Europe, the Middle East and South America. Recent contract awards include 70 Hi-Rail loaders for the construction and maintenance of the Italian Railway Commission.

Products include three base models, accessories, attachments and special applications to meet the requirements for Class 1 railroads, transit lines and shortlines, as well as subway and tram lines.
