Straub named president of expanded Nordco Equipment Services

Nordco Inc. has named Bill Straub President of the company's newly formed Equipment Services Business Unit. Nordco Equipment Services incorporates the company's Rebuild and Repair group in Oak Creek, Wis., and J.E.R. Overhaul in Arcola, Ill.
The move creates a combined organization that customers can use for rebuilding all types of MOW equipment. The organization will provide additional rebuild services by leveraging engineering expertise at each location.
“There are similarities between the product lines and markets served,” said Nordco President and CEO Bruce Boczkiewicz. “This move allows us to more effectively utilize resources and focus on meeting the needs of our customers.”
Straub joined Nordco in 1993 as a design engineer. He was Nordco’s vice president of engineering prior to being named vice president of the Repair and Rebuild Business unit in 2007.
In a related move, Eric Headrick, who had served as president of J.E.R. Overhaul, has been selected to head up the company’s Fleet Rental and Sales operations. He is responsible for all North American sales of used maintenance-of-way equipment, rentals, fleet sales and equipment acquisitions.
