Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), a member of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee and a leading advocate for the freight rail, intercity passenger rail and rail transit industries, toured the corporate headquarters offices of RailWorks Corporation in Manhattan on Thursday, June 14.

Jeff Levy, president & CEO of RailWorks and John August, executive vice president, welcomed the congressman and his New York-based District Director Robert Gottheim to the offices. The National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association assisted with organizing the event.

During the tour, Levy and August provided Congressman Nadler an overview of RailWorks’ operations throughout North America. In addition to the corporate headquarters in Manhattan, RailWorks has 24 track offices, three transit offices and three signals & communications offices in North America and was recently ranked the number 15 transportation contractor in the United States by revenue by the Engineering News-Record. In 2011, RailWorks and its operating subsidiaries performed work in 46 states and seven Canadian provinces.
