Delcan promotes six

Delcan, a multi-disciplinary, engineering, planning, management and technology firm, appointed six to principal, senior principal and vice president positions.

Susan Cox was promoted to principal. Cox joined Delcan in 2010 and is a system safety manager with more than ten years of experience in system safety for rail and transit systems and associated infrastructure. She has extensive knowledge of rail and transit operations and the systems encompassing the signaling, communications and vehicle equipment.

Paul Croft, MCIP, RPP, was promoted to principal. Croft joined Delcan in 2006 and is a senior transportation planner with more than 15 years of experience in land use, transit and transportation planning. His primary focus is on multi-modal transportation planning, with an emphasis on public transit and active transportation modes.

Patrick Cruickshank, P.Eng, was promoted to principal. Cruickshank joined Delcan in 2009 and is a senior project manager with experience managing technical professionals in the fields of transportation planning, capital and rehabilitation funding programming and highway and bridge design and construction.

Yousef Kimiagar, P.Eng, was promoted to senior principal. Kimiagar joined Delcan in 2012 as director of project management, rail and transit systems. He has more than 25 years of international senior management and engineering experience with a track record of leading mission critical and high profile programs.

Sylvain Montminy, P.Eng, was promoted to vice president. Montminy joined Delcan in 2001 and has more than 17 years of experience in project management, planning, design, evaluation, rehabilitation and construction of bridges and other transportation structures. He is the manager of the structures division in Ottawa and has experience with seismic engineering, as well as specialty structures, such as moveable bridges, long span bridges including cable-supported bridges and railway and transit structures.

Sameh Salib, P.Eng, PE, was promoted to principal. Salib joined Delcan in 2009 and has more than 22 years of experience in structural analysis, design and contract administration for different types of bridges and structures. Serving as senior structural engineer, Salib has managed projects in North America, South America, Africa and Asia.
