HDR names Lipkus managing director for Canadian operations

HDR Corporation hired Stephen Lipkus, P.E., as managing director for Canada, responsible for overseeing and growing HDR's Canadian operations in transportation, natural resources and water.

 

Prior to joining HDR, Lipkus served as executive director for GO Transit’s $1.5 billion Georgetown South project in Toronto, for the design and construction of infrastructure that will enhance rail service on the existing GO Georgetown Line, as well as accommodate the new UP Express rail link between Pearson International Airport and Toronto’s Union Station.

His 36 years of industry experience also includes vice president at AECOM, where he directed a global rail engineering team involved in more than 350 projects annually. His clients included Class 1 railroads, shortlines, passenger and commuter rail agencies and transit authorities.
