Kevin Haboian has joined HNTB Corporation in the new position of chief business development officer and senior vice president, where he will support the firm's growth within the transportation sector across the United States.

“I am pleased to welcome Kevin to our firm’s leadership team,” said Rob Slimp, chief executive officer of HNTB. “His prior experience, outstanding credentials and extensive client relationships will increase our ability to provide infrastructure solutions to our clients.”

Haboian brings more than 30 years of transportation industry experience leading and growing major lines of business – including highways, bridges, transit and aviation – and serving in key roles on numerous complex public transportation programs. He is based in the firm’s Orange County office in California.

Prior to joining HNTB, Haboian served another consulting firm as senior vice president, business development director and was responsible for business development and strategic teaming for complex transportation project pursuits throughout the Western United States.

Additionally, Ronald Giamario, PE, joined HNTB as vice president and operations manager for New Jersey.

Giamario has more than 35 years of experience that encompasses transportation infrastructure projects in rail transit, highways, bridges and transportation planning, as well as Super Storm Sandy damage recovery programs. In that time, he has worked with almost every major transportation agency in the New Jersey and New York metropolitan area.

“Well known by many of our current clients and a highly regarded transportation professional, Ron is a welcome addition to our leadership team,” said Stephen Dilts, HNTB New Jersey office leader and vice president. “He is a tremendous asset for our office’s operations as we continue to work with clients to enhance mobility options and solve congestion challenges for travelers in New Jersey.”

Giamario is responsible for resource planning and project reviews that drive profitable growth, as well as assessing performance trends and setting performance objectives.

Prior to HNTB, he was a senior vice president and manager for New Jersey and New York regional operations at another national infrastructure consulting firm.
