HNTB hires Choudri to direct national rail and transit business development

HNTB Corporation has hired Ian Choudri in the new position of national rail and transit business development director and senior vice president, where he will support the firm's growth across the United States.

 

“I am pleased to welcome Ian to HNTB,” said Kevin Haboian, HNTB chief business development officer and senior vice president. “His prior experience, outstanding technical expertise and extensive client relationships will increase our ability to provide infrastructure solutions to our clients in the expanding rail and transit sectors.”

Choudri is a business development executive with nearly three decades of experience in sales and marketing. He also is a seasoned project manager who has delivered complex public infrastructure and transportation capital works programs valued between $140 million and $1.5 billion with teams of up to 230 people in North America, Asia, Middle East and Europe.

Choudri’s technical expertise includes ports terminals automations, container handling applications, terminal operating systems, rail signaling, rolling stock, traction power, rail systems-related cyber security and train control applications.

His extensive experience includes limiting risk and establishing creative strategies for winning new business, optimizing internal operations, maximizing financial returns and guaranteeing high quality external customer service.

Prior to joining HNTB, Choudri served another consulting firm as vice president and global business development director and was responsible global sales and marketing strategy development and implementation.
