Rep. David Joyce (R-OH), a member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, visited the manufacturing facility of National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC) member Delta Railroad Construction in Austinburg, Ohio, August 28.

During the tour, Larry Laurello, president of Delta, provided Rep. Joyce with an overview of Delta’s operations throughout North America.

Founded in 1957, Delta is a family-owned and operated company that has grown from a small track repair business serving local clients to a full-service railroad construction company serving the eastern United States and currently has more than 250 employees.

“Delta Railroad Construction is not only a leader in the railroad construction industry, but also an engine of economic growth for Northeast Ohio. I appreciate the Delta staff taking time to walk me through their operations and look forward to working together moving forward,” said Rep. Joyce.
