The Railway Supply Institute (RSI) promoted Amanda Patrick to the vice president of trade shows and member relations.

“Amanda’s elevation to vice president is a well-deserved recognition of her expertise, accomplishments and dedication to advancing the interests of our members and the railway supply industry,” said RSI President Tom Simpson. “She has steadily enhanced the professionalism and scope of RSI’s trade shows, website presence and industry outreach.”

Patrick, who came to RSI in 2008 as trade show and marketing manager, is responsible for planning and managing exhibitions and sponsorships for the annual RSI/Coordinated Mechanical Associations conference and trade show and the organization’s presence at international exhibitions. She also coordinates RSI’s exhibition for the biennial Railway Interchange event. In her new position, Patrick also oversees marketing activities and member relations initiatives.

Before joining RSI, Patrick worked with Cassidy and Associates, a government relations firm. She started her career in Washington, D.C., as a program instructor at the nonprofit Close Up Foundation.
