Stiles joins TranSystems as market sector leader for passenger rail and transit sector

Jeffrey Stiles, AICP, has joined TranSystems Corp., a consulting firm that provides engineering and architecture solutions to the transportation marketplace, leading its firm-wide passenger rail and transit market sector.

Stiles has more than 30 years of management experience and direct client service throughout the Northeast and Florida, as well as other locations throughout the country. In this role Stiles will be responsible for leading and providing strategic direction for the growing practice, which serves passenger rail and transit organizations coast to coast.

“Jeff brings extensive knowledge of the rail and transit industry, particularly in the Northeast and Florida, two areas where we have a significant focus on growing our practice,” said Chief Strategy and Marketing Office John Grow. “His planning and preliminary development expertise, along with a proved record of project and operational success, make him a very strong addition to the company.”

He comes to TranSystems from another consulting firm where he had many roles, including serving as national director for transit planning and environmental services and leading operations in the New York/New Jersey area.

Stiles holds an executive management degree from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in urban studies from Denver University. He is an active member of the American Planning Association, the American Public Transportation Association and the American Road & Transportation Builders Association.
