Robert Ryan joined TranSystems as senior vice president and market sector leader for its national passenger rail and transit practice areas.

“Robert has more than 30 years of transportation experience and provides a unique perspective to multi-modal projects, which is a sweet spot for TranSystems,” said Rick Morsches, chief strategy and marketing officer for TranSystems. “He has combined his professional experience with his community involvement as a volunteer, former city councilor and public school board member to develop solutions that meet both project and community needs.”

According to Morsches, Ryan’s approach has resulted in rapid approval of complex transportation planning and environmental projects. Ryan has led or won projects with the Chicago Transit Authority, the St. Louis MetroLink, the Louisville Transit Authority of River City and the Ann Arbor-to-Detroit commuter rail.

“I’m impressed with the expertise I’ve found at TranSystems,” Ryan said. “We have executed a wide range of projects within the sector and our expertise is well-distributed throughout many offices.”
