Betsworth will direct UP's intermodal facilities and network operations. The railroad operates 34 intermodal facilities across its 32,000-mile network.
Betsworth has more than 18 years' experience with UP and most recently served as assistant vice president and general manager – Union Pacific Distribution Services (UPDS). Betsworth replaces Barry Michaels, who left the company to pursue other interests.
