Unitrac Railroad Materials, Inc., is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month. Since the company's founding in 1989, Unitrac has offered railroad products, special trackwork and railroad services to customers nationwide.

“Unitrac has gone through tremendous growth and has experienced numerous operational expansions, all the while remaining focused on delivering quality rail products and trackwork solutions to the railroad industry,” said Raymond Lambert, president of Unitrac. “I am honored to be a part of a company that after 25 years is more committed than ever to offering customers a reliable partner for their trackwork needs. Our first 25 years have been very successful and we’re excited to celebrate this milestone and look forward to building upon our success as we strive to support our railroad customers in the years to come.”

In 1989, Unitrac was launched with only 10 employees and was in the business of supplying special trackwork products to rail brokers in the Northeast and Southeast regions. Unitrac has grown to employ more than 145 sales, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, technical and field operations rail professionals to help manage a vast network of nationwide rail customers. The company says it has evolved into a designer, manufacturer and supplier of railroad track materials and services that serve Class 1, transit, shortline, railroad contractors, government and industrial railroad operators throughout the nation. Unitrac is a supplier of relay rail products and solutions and says it is offering new advancements in the new, manufactured trackwork market.
