Unity Railway Supply and IRECO name new president

Unity Railway Supply Co., Inc. and IRECO, LLC named Marc Trani president, succeeding Bob Grandy who retired, effective April 30, 2013.
CEO William O’Connor said, “Bob displayed tremendous leadership throughout his long and successful tenure. It’s has been a great pleasure working alongside him for the past 24 years. Now, I am looking forward to the next 24 with Marc leading our companies.”
Trani joined Unity Railway Supply Co., Inc. and IRECO, LLC as vice president of sales in 2012. During his 20-year rail supply industry career, he has extensive experience in the areas of manufacturing, quality, marketing and sales.
For more than 60 years, Unity has acted as a sales representative or distributor for numerous manufacturers of freight car parts that serve railroads, repair shops and new car builders throughout North America. IRECO, LLC has been a leading supplier of mechanically-engineered railcar components to the rail industry for more than 80 years.
