Projects include the Fairway Drive Grade Separation project in Los Angeles. A total of $71 million has been allocated to the Alameda Corridor East Construction Authority to construct a roadway underpass on Fairway Drive and a double-track railroad bridge on the Los Angeles Subdivision of Union Pacific, which is shared with Metrolink passenger trains.
Funds totaling $12.49 million has been allocated to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency for the Central Subway project, where a 5.2-mile extension of the T-Third light rail will be constructed from the Caltrain terminus to south of Union Square and Chinatown.
The California Department of Transportation will use $12.27 million on the Tehachapi Trade Corridor Rail Improvement Project, where 2.8 miles of double track will be constructed and the Cliff siding will be extended by approximately 900 feet in Kern County at the UP Mojave Subdivision,
