Tentative agreement reached in Canadian National strike
Written by David C. Lester, Editor-in-ChiefThe Financial Post is reporting that a tentative agreement has been reached in the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference strike on Canadian National.
The announcement, made this morning, said that striking workers will report to their jobs at 2 p.m. ET this afternoon (Tuesday). The railroad also said that normal operations will begin tomorrow morning (Wednesday).
Within the next two months, CN union members must vote to ratify the agreement.
