Advanced Rail Systems is deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of its founder and CEO, Coy Beaman.

Coy was a second generation railroader with over 40 years in the industry starting his career as a Signal Maintainer on the Southern Pacific. After a brief stint of commercial fishing in Alaska, Coy came back to the lower 48 to resume his railroad career. His first entrepreneurial challenge was jointly forming RailComm, then started Global Rail Systems, which was purchased by a foreign entity, before putting the team together at Advanced Rail Systems. Coy will be forever remembered for his vision and determination, his ability to identify and solve problems and his support of those less fortunate. Coy is survived by his wife, Mona, his daughter Ann and son in law Jimmie, granddaughter Alyssa, and grandson Trey , son Joshua and daughter in law Britney, son Aaron and daughter in law Taylor and grandson Maverick.
