Kailash Lala joins HNTB’s Atlanta technology team

HNTB recently announced a new member of their Atlanta office team.

Kailash Lala joins HNTB as technology director, based in the firm’s Atlanta office. Lala is responsible for leading the delivery of technology and geospatial solutions to public and private sector clients.

“Kailash is an incredibly driven individual who transforms digital environments and leads modernization initiatives,” said Carrie Rocha, PE, HNTB Atlanta office leader. “His extensive experience in evaluating industry challenges, applying innovative technology solutions, and strategic approaches to project delivery will bring tremendous value to our clients in Georgia and around the country.”

Prior to joining HNTB, Lala worked in leadership roles for various technology consulting firms, where he served as a trusted advisor for healthcare, telecommunications, financial services, retail and public sector clients. Lala is a certified Project Management Professional, SAFe certified Agile Practitioner and certified Scrum Master. He has a Bachelor of Science in physics from Mumbai University, a post-graduate degree in computer science from National Center for Software Technology in India, and an Executive MBA from the Goizueta Business School (Emory University, Atlanta).

HNTB has been and is currently involved in several significant transportation projects in the Atlanta region, including 30 major highway improvement projects for the Georgia Department of Transportation, and on-call transit planning and engineering for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority.
