Metro-North now selling PPE at Lower Hudson Valley stations

Need to pick up some personal protective gear before catching your train? Well, if you live in the Lower Hudson Valley and ride Metro-North, it is available in 12 stations along the route.
The railroad is now selling masks and hand sanitizer (a one-time use container of hand sanitizer is 75 cents and KN95 mask costs less than $10.00).
According to lohud, a news agency part of the USA Today network, Catherine Rinaldi, president of Metro-North, said “Having PPE easily accessible for customers at the vending machines is a key part of welcoming more riders back throughout our service region. We are working tirelessly to ensure their safety by coming up with innovative solutions like this and continuing to aggressively clean our trains and stations.
Like many commuter railroads, Metro-North requires passengers to wear a mask while they’re on the train. The railroad is providing masks free to passengers who board a train without one. In addition, touchless hand-sanitizer dispensers are available in stations. The following stations are selling masks and hand sanitizer: Croton-Harmon, Dobbs Ferry, Fordham, Hastings-on-Hudson, Harlem-125th Street, North White Plains, Port Chester, Poughkeepsie, Rye, Southeast, Tarrytown and Yonkers. The railroad will be installing vending machines for masks and hand sanitizer in more stations over the next several weeks.
