A crash involving a semi-tractor trailer in Joplin, Mo., has closed a Kansas City Southern line.

It happened early in the morning on April 16. According to witnesses the truck was on I-44 east when it left the roadway, slammed into the median and then fell 30 ft onto the railroad tracks. Two people were in the truck and one had to be removed from the vehicle by emergency responders, but there are no life-threatening injuries.

The Kansas City Southern line is currently closed due to the wreckage. The truck was carrying boxed fabric, and several boxes could be seen sprawled across the tracks. No word yet if the track itself suffered any damage.
