Hardesty & Hanover has named a new Senior Track Manager.

Devin Plantamura, P.E., has joined Hardesty & Hanover as Senior Track Manager in the design firm’s Rail Group. Plantamura will be leading the Track Design Department supporting both the Passenger Rail and Freight Rail Practices, which include bridge, station and facility design, inspection, and maintenance services for H&H’s transit agency and railroad clients. 

Plantamura has more than 14 years of experience and has served as a task leader, deputy project manager, and project engineer for several railroad infrastructure improvement projects, including design services, track work procurement, design-build, and asset management projects. He has worked on all stages of track design from conceptual planning and preliminary engineering through final design and construction phase services.

In addition to rail projects, Plantamura also has worked on highway design, structural design, bridge, and railroad inspections. Clients have included SEPTA, PANYNJ-PATH, PennDOT, and Delaware River Port Authority. Plantamura has an MS in Transportation Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a BEng in Civil Engineering from The Cooper Union.
